Reconociendo que las políticas y medidas que propusimos en Acting on Climate Change: Solutions from Canadian Scholars (Actuar contra el cambio climático: soluciones de académicos canadienses) se limitan a nuestros campos de especialización, distribuimos nuestro documento de posición a una amplia gama de primeras naciones, asociaciones empresariales, organizaciones no gubernamentales, grupos sindicales, instituciones, organizaciones y ciudadanos particulares, con el fin de ampliar el debate.

Esta recopilación de textos, titulada Acting on Climate Change: Extending the Dialogue Among Canadians, presenta las contribuciones surgidas de estas interacciones. Algunas contribuciones fueron solicitadas, mientras que otras nos fueron ofrecidas espontáneamente. Sustainable Dialogues y nuestros socios no dirigieron ni respaldaron las contribuciones; el contenido, las imágenes y las ilustraciones pertenecen a sus respectivos autores y organizaciones. En conjunto, las contribuciones enriquecen el abanico de posibles soluciones y demuestran que Canadá rebosa ideas, posibilidades y voluntad de actuar.
